Why Thai People Prefer To Live In Wooden Houses?

There are some certain reasons why Thai people prefer to live in wooden houses. Thai House is made of woods because the bamboos fixed deep into the ground resist the flood water forcefully. It is worth mentioning here that rainy season in Thailand turns very dreadful. The heavy rains cause a great flood and the houses and all other belongings of the people wash away. In the rural area of Thailand, the people live in the middle of rivers or lakes. Actually, the people fix their bamboos deep in the base of the river or the lake. The houses are built on the upper portion of the bamboo out of the water. The people shift from one place to another on little boats.

Thai civilization dates back to the prehistoric times. Thailand contains 94% of the people belonging to the Buddhism. Thai people use the wooden material in their houses in order to show their great association with the great Buddha; their religious god. Before starting the construction of their house, Thai people perform religious rituals at the place where the house is to be built.

The land is purified by sprinkling holy water. A huge bamboo decorated with some religious belongings fixed in the ground. Having fixed the bamboo in the ground, the people say some holy words. Thai like to live in the wooden house because the woods resist the extreme weather in all season; the heat is resisted in the summer season and the coldness is resisted by the woods in the winter season.

Hunting in Thailand has always been controversial. As it has been told earlier; 94% of the Thai population belong to Buddhism. The people believing in Buddhism consider it to be a great sin to hunt the animals. That is the reason; the foreigners who try to hunt in Thailand are not encouraged by the local community. Sometimes, the native Thai people hurt the people hunting in their land. Legally, the Thailand hunting is allowed but it can be done after getting a license which is not given easily. Chasing the animals, sometimes, the hunters go deep into the dark forest and the wild animals attack them. Many cases of such kind have been reported. The tribal Thai people live in the forest and they hunt with their traditional weapons like spear and iron plate. Basically, Thai people are friendly by nature.
